Amazing night at Amplify last night! God did so much but I want to testify about a few things...
Last night was our 7th Wednesday night youth service since we have been the Youth Pastors at C.O.P. The 1st week we were here we had 19 students. We had 84 in the house @ Amplify last night!! It is easy when you have incredible growth for that to become your main focus. It may not be our main focus...but reaching people is. It has been said that if something is healthy..it will grow! Our church and the ministries of the house are certainly experiencing growth...but not just numerically...
Last night we had 16 students surrender their lives to Christ!!! The Bible says that heaven rejoices when 1 person comes into relationship with Jesus...we rejoice over the 16!!! And no doubt some may have left last night not having a relationship with God...yet...but His Word was shared...and it will not return void!!
We have been praying and working on fund raising ideas for things we need at Amplify. We have lots of things we want to do...and 1 was to purchase Bibles to give to students when they don't have 1. God placed this same burden on the heart of some of our youth leaders and last night (at no cost to us or our youth leaders), 50 brand new NIV Bibles were brought to Amplify for us to give away when someone doesn't have 1. God is faithful...and students that did not have a Bible left with 1 last night!!
One more thing I thank God for...the help he is sending our way! We have been blessed with Adults that believe in this generation...and want to invest into their lives! We are so grateful for their help and we look forward to growing with this incredible team and those he is sending our way in the near future! Together we will reach and disciple the middle school, high school and college students of this great community!
Next week we start P&W practice with team 1 and Wednesday night @ Amplify we will be in the 2nd week of our Amplify Series: Lift Up!
We are so stoked for all God has in store! The best is yet to come!
